Woodworking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I followed my dad everywhere, hammer in hand, eager to help with whatever he was building. By the age of ten, I had my own tool apron and was helping frame an addition to our family home. If it wasn’t baseball season, Saturdays meant building, fixing, and creating with my dad.
In high school, I discovered the lathe — and it changed everything. I was fascinated by how a simple block of wood could be transformed into something useful, beautiful, and lasting. That spark of fascination never left. Even as life moved quickly, the joy of working with wood remained steady.
Today, every piece I create carries that same passion. I use natural, food-safe finishes like beeswax to highlight the wood’s beauty. Whether it’s a bowl for your family table or a gift for someone you love, my hope is simple: that you’ll enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.
